Arrive at Porto Airport (Francisco Sá Carneiro – OPO), just 50 km from Guimarães. With direct flights from major European cities, your gateway to elegance is less than an hour away. Private transfers, chauffeured cars, and car rentals are available upon arrival. Alternatively, Lisbon’s Humberto Delgado Airport (LIS) is 370 km away, perfect if you plan a scenic drive or train journey north.

💡 Insider Tip: If flying into Porto, request a transfer that stops briefly in the Douro Valley for a glass of local  wine — it sets the tone for your Aurum Experience.

By Car 🚗

From Porto, a smooth 40–45 minute drive towards Braga along the A3 motorway brings you to the historic city of Guimarães.

From Lisbon: Follow the A1 north towards Porto, then A3 towards Braga and A7 to Guimarães. Approx. 3h30 drive

💡 Insider Tip : Driving allows you to enjoy the lush & rolling landscapes of Portugal at your own pace. Stop to one of the many cities in between and enjoy a nice meal before arriving to Guimarães

By Train🚆

A relaxed and picturesque way to arrive, perfect for soaking in the beauty before the games begin.

From Porto: Direct trains depart from São Bento or Campanhã stations. The journey takes around 1h15.

From Lisbon: Take an Alfa Pendular or Intercidades train to Porto-Campanhã, then a regional train to Guimarães. Total travel time: approx. 4h30.

💡 Insider Tip : Book first-class train tickets in advance for wider seats and onboard refreshments. From Porto to Guimarães, choose the left side of the carriage for more scenic countryside views.

Yes. For an additional cost Aurum can assist with arranging private transfers from Porto or Lisbon airports & train stations.

The Aurum Padel Experience is the heart of our event — a private, ladies-only environment designed to immerse you in competition, wellness, and refined leisure.

This Experience includes:

• Official tournament matches in an elite setting at Life Padel Club.

• Daily Pilates sessions for performance, well-being and recovery.

• Tailored Performance Food and Drinks before, during & after matches.

• Live DJ set for a vibrant atmosphere between games and more.

• Saturday afternoon Cocktail with finger food and champagne

Please note: This experience is exclusively for participating ladies. Plus-ones are welcome only on the final day, before the the finals.

Performance Food & Drinks as the name itself, refers to food prepared with specific nutrients & ingredients such as carbohydrates, proteins and other nutritional components in order to provide the body with the necessary fuel with the goal to enhance physical performance, delay fatigue & improve recovery.

Performance food will be prepared by Chefs Miguel Marques & Victor Faria. Specific options will be served during the 2-day tournament days before, during and after games.

Following the 10,000€ prize ceremony, guests and plus +1’s will gather within the exclusive setting of Life Padel Club for a late afternoon that blends refinement and conviviality. Enjoy a curated DJ set, champagne and fine wines, elegant finger food, and the distinguished Kai Tai ceremony — all in the company of players, +1’s, partners, and friends of the Aurum Experience.

There are two types of registration:

1-   Single Lady Registration

2-   Single Lady Registration with Plus-one

Single Lady Registration means solo registration with your name on it.

Single Lady Registration with Plus-one means registration for yourself with your name on it + your Plus-one name (required).

*A Plus-one is not transferable for a participating lady at the “Padel Experience” and cannot be used by a participating lady last minute.

When registering, you will also have to provide the name of your tournament partner, which must be different from the name of your plus-one (in case you have chosen to register “With Plus-one” option).
