Image & Sound Policy

In compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016) and with Law No. 58/2019 of 8 August, AURUM respects the right to privacy, honour, and image of the data subjects, hereinafter referred to as CLIENTS.

During the AURUM PADEL sports event, which will take place in Guimarães from 10 to 12 October 2025, images and sound recordings of CLIENTS will be captured with the purpose of:
(i) documenting and publicising the event;
(ii) promoting future editions of the organisation;
(iii) producing institutional and promotional content in both physical and digital media.

CONSENT
□ By participating in the event, the CLIENT freely, knowingly and explicitly authorises the capture and use of their image, voice and other personal characteristics for the purposes described above.

If the CLIENT does not authorise the capture and use of their image, voice and other personal characteristics for the purposes described above, the CLIENT acknowledges that this makes their registration and participation in the AURUM PADEL event impossible, since the organisation does not have the technological means to strictly guarantee their right to privacy.

It is hereby informed that consent for the processing of personal data covers its use both nationally and internationally, dissemination on social media, websites, television, radio, streaming platforms, among others; editing, adaptation or assembly of images and sound, provided that the dignity of the CLIENT is respected. AURUM ensures the dignity of its CLIENTS, undertaking a careful selection of advertising content using the personal data of CLIENTS.

Consent is granted free of charge and does not create any contractual, employment or other obligation between the CLIENT and AURUM.

Images and sound will be stored for a period of twelve (12) months, unless consent is revoked by the CLIENT, by sending an email to contact@theaurumexperience.com with the subject “REVOCATION OF IMAGE CONSENT”.

The CLIENT has the following rights:

  • To access their data.

  • To rectify their personal data.

  • To revoke consent.

  • To request the erasure of their personal data, when it is no longer necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, except for the declaration, exercise or defence of a right in legal proceedings.

  • To request restriction of processing, in particular when AURUM no longer requires the data for processing purposes, but such data is required by the data subject for the declaration, exercise or defence of a right in legal proceedings.

  • Right to data portability.

  • Right to lodge a complaint with the National Data Protection Commission (Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados), Avenida D. Carlos I, 134 - 1.º, 1200-651 Lisbon, Tel. +351 213928400; Fax +351 213976832; email: geral@cnpd.pt.

Participation of minors is not permitted.

The video surveillance systems in the sports and hotel facilities comply with specific legislation and are the responsibility of the respective operators, for which AURUM assumes no responsibility.
